Neil’s played at the Gallery@Ministry of Sound last year alongside the Plums, Tribal Monk3y, and has also played at Anexxo and Parker Place, both in London.

Neil was heavily involved in the first few years of web radio, working for Keen FM and also working with the Atmosphusion crew from Cologne, Germany, on their Aural Impact sessions, again, focusing more on the intelligent sound and downtempo. Coming more up to date, I worked with Tribal Monk3y on his Phatbeats show.

Today he tends to play across the board, moving from Deep House to Ambient to Dub Techno and back again. Neil & The Plums hope you enjoy the Deep house mix from this site and the links above.

This is Cyan’s mix from our 5th show.

Some of these tunes I’ve had for a good few years now but never really had a chance to play them out for one reason or another.

You know how it is. You buy shitloads of ’em over the years & some get forgotten about as you build your collection continually bigger!

It was a real pleasure & a surprise to re-discover them. Gems such as Llorca’s re-rub of 2020 Soundsystem’s, ‘High’ & a deliciously funky Dan Curtin remix of an Americhord track.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I did piecing it together. There’ll be more to come from the Plum Trio over the coming months with a few changes & improvements to our live broadcasts.

As always, we gladly welcome any feedback and mixes from anyone who’d like to send us one.

Keep in touch & keep music flowin’!

This is my podcast from our 4th ‘Live Beats’ broadcast of the year. I really enjoyed putting this together & currently love the sounds being produced by Henrik Schwarz, DOP & Stimming to name but a few.
I like to listen to all genres of Dance music (Scouse House being the exception!) because on occasions, there are absolute gems to pick up. Then, if possible, I’ll throw them into a set which is based around the Deep/Tech side of things.

Electric love!
